My name is Natalia.

​

Professionally I work on sustainable food system transformation and #innovations, but in my free time I love to take pictures, visit new places, meet people and tell #visualstories.

​

I created this website to share visual impressions from #CentralEurope (yet not only) and show you what makes this region dear to my heart. 

I also wanted to share stories that might be harder to see, but which are significant to me.

Being half French half Polish and growing up with two cultures, I often felt the wish to tell and show more about my perspective, feeling as a bridge between these worlds.

I grew up in France, then lived in Berlin for a few years, went many times to #Belarus and #Ukraine, to finally settle down in Warsaw (and the story doesn't end here ;). I feel my inner home is made of pieces of each of these dimensions.

Politics, social issues and the history of this part of the world are particularly important to me. I also love French-speaking novels and comics, Polish non fiction literature, Central and Eastern European/Balkan traditional singing, local crafts and folklore.
